Welcome! My name is Derek and I am the owner of Red Cedar Creative.

Red Cedar Creative was born from my garage in the Pacific Northwest. It all began when, after spending years making projects for around the house, I posted a picture online of a wooden dough scraper I had made. At the time I was getting into sourdough bread baking and figured that, rather than buy some cheap plastic scraper, I could just make my own.

Well that picture ended up taking off and after getting dozens of requests to order one I figured there was no better time to turn this woodworking hobby into a business.

Now just 2 1/2 years later we have shipped over 1200 orders around the world and continue to grow. Our Etsy shop has received 100s of FIVE star reviews which speaks to the time and effort we put into every piece we sell.
